He's, of course, a little antsy. He mostly just paces around... tugs a book off of a shelf... flips through it... puts it back... paces some more... rinse and repeat.

It's Thursday night, who could blame him.]

[ the second time tsukasa flips through a book and starts to pace, raikou is stealing his hand. ]

I'm going to quiz you on the next book you "read" like that. [ who can blame him--

--the trick is to be nervous on the inside and not show it on the outside! ]

[Oh.

He doesn't complain when Raikou snags his hand, though he does breathe out a heavy sigh.]

They're not holding my attention very well. [For Obvious Reasons.]

I think I can do better than a book, don't you think?

[ all teasing, but he's making circles on tsukasa's hand with his fingers. ]

Do you want to talk or play a game?

[aspirings]

[Better than pacing some more, so.]

A game? Did you have something in mind?

Well if it's just the two of us we could play shirotori or cat's cradle, but I'll warn you that's a specialty of mine.

[ me scrambling for things that can be done in rp. ]

We could play "Never have I ever" if other people want to join in, though I didn't bring any beer...

[aspirings]

[He snorts lightly at that.]

Drinking tonight doesn't sound like a good idea anyway.

[Honestly... no one can blame him. Pinocchio doesn't really suffer from nervousness the same way most others do, but even he can feel that small thread of anxiety creeping through him — the anticipation of knowing what'll happen soon but not knowing how it'll take place.

Still, he can try to offer some company. Maybe it'll help them both.

[He does appreciate the company, honestly; Pinocchio gets a lopsided but sincere smile when he does. Tsukasa just... pops the book he was holding back into place.]

I know. I hate not feeling like we have any control over it.

[Even back home, he could at least take to the streets and fight. Here? Not so much. It is either sleep... or awaken, apparently, to a dire fate.]

I think the best we can do now is stay close to each other and find better ways to pass the time.

[aspirings]

[A deep breath in, and he heaves out a heavy sigh.]

You're right. I don't want my antsiness to bother everyone else, too.

[Hmm... something else.]

We can play a game? [Let's see. They've already done twenty questions. What else has heard of before...?] Have you heard of "two truths and a lie?"

Oh, yes, I have.

[Well. They can certainly play that. Tsukasa is the worst liar in the world, but it's fine.]

[ Dainsleif is nearby, and seeing Tsukasa pacing around makes him want to speak up. ]

[Everyone here is so calm and then there's Tsukasa, vibrating.]

[ Tsukasa is like that person with people in a room standing and he is vibrating like a macarena at high speed.

[ Please imagination him using something close to the thinker pose as he considers this. He is just going to...pick a subject at random. ]

What do you most like about singing?

[aspirings]

[Dainsleif is the best... just casually offering himself up as A Distraction.

Tsukasa blinks at the question, but brings a hand to his chin as he thinks.]

Hm! That's a good question. It's fun, of course. [That's the easiest reason.] And I do enjoy musicals, and the way that singing can convey many things about the character to the audience!

So I suppose those two things would be my favorite when it comes to singing.

Do you sing at all?

[ Dainsleif is ready to do his duty! Distraction duty, in this case.

At least he feels as if it might be an easy topic, even if it's actually not something he talks about all that often. ]

I see.

As for myself...no.

[ One of his VA's is probably a singer, though. ]

It's probably because I never had the chance to pursue that element. Though, I've certainly listened to others sing all on their own at bars or taverns. Sometimes even mini productions where singing can occur.

[aspirings]

I wish you could hear Nene sing. She is my troupe's Songstress, and her voice is truly incredible.

[Aaah... he misses them.]

When she sings on stage, everyone is always spellbound.

...It sounds like it would be nice.

[ Dainsleif has heard some pretty good singers in his time, but he has no doubt Tsukasa's friend here would be no less different than the others. ]

I imagine it is also quite the experience should she perform a duo with yourself or any other member of your troupe.

[aspirings]

Of course, we are dazzling together!

Nene and I are the focused actors of our troupe. Emu and Rui do act on stage as well to bring our productions to life, but their focuses lie elsewhere.

So it is usually Nene and myself playing the main roles in our shows.
