[ Tsukasa is like that person with people in a room standing and he is vibrating like a macarena at high speed.

Which, valid. ]

I believe it's time for a distraction, then.

[ Please imagination him using something close to the thinker pose as he considers this. He is just going to...pick a subject at random. ]

What do you most like about singing?

[aspirings]

[Dainsleif is the best... just casually offering himself up as A Distraction.

Tsukasa blinks at the question, but brings a hand to his chin as he thinks.]

Hm! That's a good question. It's fun, of course. [That's the easiest reason.] And I do enjoy musicals, and the way that singing can convey many things about the character to the audience!

So I suppose those two things would be my favorite when it comes to singing.

Do you sing at all?

[hjadningavig]

[ Dainsleif is ready to do his duty! Distraction duty, in this case.

At least he feels as if it might be an easy topic, even if it's actually not something he talks about all that often. ]

I see.

As for myself...no.

[ One of his VA's is probably a singer, though. ]

It's probably because I never had the chance to pursue that element. Though, I've certainly listened to others sing all on their own at bars or taverns. Sometimes even mini productions where singing can occur.

[aspirings]

I wish you could hear Nene sing. She is my troupe's Songstress, and her voice is truly incredible.

[Aaah... he misses them.]

When she sings on stage, everyone is always spellbound.

[hjadningavig]

...It sounds like it would be nice.

[ Dainsleif has heard some pretty good singers in his time, but he has no doubt Tsukasa's friend here would be no less different than the others. ]

I imagine it is also quite the experience should she perform a duo with yourself or any other member of your troupe.

[aspirings]

Of course, we are dazzling together!

[sparkle sparkle sparkle]

Nene and I are the focused actors of our troupe. Emu and Rui do act on stage as well to bring our productions to life, but their focuses lie elsewhere.

So it is usually Nene and myself playing the main roles in our shows.

[ Dainsleif isn't surprised by the confident response, so here he is, nodding and absorbing this information closely.

It's like an entertainment kind of thing, and given Tsukasa's everything he wouldn't be surprised if all of them shone like a star on the stage. ]

Speaking of your troupe...what did make you all decide to gather together to form it in the first place? With each specific person, at that?

[ He remembers talking about it before and fate. Though the concrete reason never came up. ]

[aspirings]

Hm...

[It's a good question, and Tsukasa grins a little as he thinks back.]

Emu is the one who brought us together initially. She found me, and brought me to her favorite stage to help rejuvenate it, and bring back its audience. Of course, she must have had a very discerning eye for my dazzling skill and presence!

After that, we found Rui, who often performed alone in Shibuya, and he brought his childhood friend, Nene.

It took is some time to properly come together as a troupe, but I would say we've grown only stronger with each challenge we've overcome together!

[ Dainsleif would not be surprised if Tsukasa is the most exuberant of the troupe - even before having heard this, he can't imagine anyone more excitable. ]

Each challenge...I suppose the first would have been your first performance together.

It would be the moment that tested if you all had true synchronicity and were meant to work together from hereon.

[ Dainsleif is talking about this so seriously, but it just means he's engaged. Even if this is not where his experience may lie. ]

[aspirings]

Ah... yes.

[Tsukasa laughs at that, but ruefully and a little softly.]

Our first performance. You're right that that was our first proper test. And it was... an absolute disaster on every front.

[hjadningavig]

[ Dainsleif hadn't anticipated that...the first performance would apparently be such a failure that would be Tsukasa's reaction. ]

...I see.

I hadn't known it was that bad. Nor would I expect for it to be...how exactly did all of you overcome such a demoralizing aftermath?

[ Because it certainly sounds like it! ]

[aspirings]

[It was deeply demoralizing, he's right--perhaps more than Dainsleif is expecting.]

I handled it very poorly. [Tsukasa was pre-character development back then.] And lost my temper at the others, when they didn't deserve it at all. And ultimately, the troupe broke up.

[Obviously, that isn't the end of the tale, given they're putting shows on now.]

We were able to come back together again... when I figured out my priorities, and properly apologized to everyone.
